It's Sunday morning, and all I can hear from the television next door is an endless stream of anti-Israel and antisemitic nonsense from contributors carefully selected by the BBC (Beirut Bigotry Cabal).

No wonder that even fair-minded people get on the wrong side, after absorbing an endless diet of this sort of thing.

Liebanon

Having spent most of my (very few) spare moments digging around on the internet for some real information on the Israeli/Lebanon conflict - despairing of any vestige of honesty or balance in the broadcast and print media - I am furious beyond belief at the outright lies and distortion being perpetrated by the BBC and others.

There are so many links to real information available for anyone with the will (and a few minutes) to find them.

Everything that I see convinces me even more that what they want is our blood, that giving them all the concessions in the world will change nothing for the better - and that we'd better damn' well wake up and stop being in denial.

The proposed destruction of Israel is just the start. They plan to destroy us next. Just let them bloody-well try!

Just have a careful read of the much-quoted Geneva Conventions for a start. Then make up your mind who is committing the "war crimes". Using civilians as human shields is specifically forbidden, as is carrying out combat operations without wearing a military uniform.

Oh, I could go on. Find the stuff for yourself, why don't you? You're a grown-up...
